Chiropractic
Chiropractic care includes the diagnosis, treatment and prevention of mechanical disorders of the musculoskeletal system, and focuses on the effects of these disorders on the functions of the nervous system and general health. It is a conservative approach to wellness and health without the use of drugs or surgery that aims to help normalize the function of the spine and extremities.
Chiropractors use hands-on manipulation (also called adjustment) to restore mobility and bodily function to joints, and to alleviate pain caused by any number of factors including injuries, repetitive stress and scoliosis. Chiropractic care recognizes the union and connection of mind and body in treating pain and how it can contribute to how pain may present itself.
