Approach:
Dr. Sorokin has been lucky to train under a number of great doctors and is a proponent of home exercise and physical therapy. He is also interested in regenerative medicine procedures, such as SI joint fusion and neuromodulation, as they provide effective pain relief in the least invasive way possible.
Professional Highlights:
Dr. Sorokin received his bachelor’s in biology from City University of New York (CUNY) in Brooklyn and his medical degree from the New York College of Osteopathic Medicine. He completed his Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation residency at Mercy Medical Center in New York as well as a year-long, interventional pain management apprenticeship with Dr. Harvey Finkelstein.
Personal Notes:
Dr. Sorokin is a big tennis fan, even teaching his children to play. Though family time is a priority, he also enjoys shooting skeet at a shooting range.
